What actually is MINDFULNESS?
Mindfulness refers to the practice of being present and fully engaged in the current moment, paying attention to one’s thoughts, feelings, sensations, and surroundings in a non-judgmental way.
The aim of mindfulness is to cultivate a clearer awareness of one’s experiences and to improve one’s overall well-being.
So if you want to reduce stress, improve your mental health and physical health…
…you’ll want to take part in this week’s action steps.
Every day at 6AM – I’ll be posting an action step for you. As soon as you’re done – report back in.

Make a conscious effort today to reduce your screen time in and around your day to day structure.
Reducing screen time can have several benefits, including improved sleep patterns, increased productivity and concentration, reduced stress and eye strain, and enhanced interpersonal relationships and physical activity.
You WILL notice the benefits to this one instantly.
THURSDAY
Your Mindfulness Week #actionstep4 🧘♀️
Ever gone for a walk and just feel – well – better?
It’s because Spending time in nature has been shown to lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol and promote feelings of relaxation and well-being.🌳🤩
So today’s task?
Get outside for a walk – doesn’t matter if its 10 minutes or 60.
You’ll feel better for it (and hit some steps whilst you’re at it)

FRIDAY
Your Mindfulness Week #actionstep5 🧘♀️
Today – is all about gratitude.
Simply put – when you’re being grateful you can’t be angry – anxious etc.
It’s why writing down 3 x Gratitude bullet points every morning is the perfect way to start your day in this calm & positive headspace.
It’ll start your day with more positive momentum than IF you didn’t do this. Allowing you to handle your emotions far better.
So let’s do it.
You can write these down in the comments OR if you want to keep them personal write them down in your phone (try do this before 9AM)
