ingredients
500g lamb mince
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
large bunch of coriander, leaves
pinch hot paprika
large bunch of thyme, leaves
small bunch of fresh mint, leaves only
200g low-fat natural yogurt
4 white pitta breads
Method
- in a food processor, blend the mince, onion, garlic, spices and fresh coriander. Season, then shape the mixture into torpedoes.
- make the sides. Chop the mint and mix with yogurt in a small bowl.
- preheat the grill to high and grill the koftas for 4-5mins each side until cooked through. while the koftas are cooking, toast the pitta breads and cut into triangles. Serve the warm pittas with the koftas, minted yogurt
