Ingredients
150g long-steamed broccoli
100g pasta
100g cherry tomatoes halved
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ -1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
120g can tuna steak in water or brine drained
Flaked sea salt
Ground black
Method
Fill a large pan with cold water and bring to the boil. Trim the broccoli and cut each stem into 3 pieces, leaving the heads whole
Add the pasta to the boiling water, return to the boil and cook for 9 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the broccoli to the pan and cook for 2 minutes more.
Drain the pasta and the broccoli in a colander. Then return them to the pan and add the tomatoes, olive oil, chilli flakes and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook for 2 minutes, tossing with 2 wooden spoons until the pasta is lightly coated with the spices and the tomatoes and softened but still holding their shape.
Flake the tuna into the pan and heat with the pasta for 1 minute more, tossing very gently so it doesn’t break up too much. Divide the pasta between 2 warmed plates
